Party islands and party holiday destinations, compared

Malta's tourism authority calls Paceville, in St Julian's, the island's main entertainment district. Toy Room is there, and Infinity by Hugo's is also in St Julian's. The 2026 calendar of Party Island Malta was fullest in July and August: rooftop pool parties, the lido at Café del Mar in Qawra, boat parties, Aria Complex's foam party, and club nights and live shows at Gianpula Village. It does not stop with the summer. Between February and April there were nights at Toy Room and TwentyTwo, and from October the Toy Room winter editions take over the Saturdays, with a Halloween night and New Year's Eve announced. Every Party Island night in Tenerife is along the southern coast, from Los Cristianos up to Playa de Troya. Papagayo has room for 1,500 people, DJ Mag's 2026 ranking of the world's clubs placed it 76th, and it runs a different night every day from Wednesday through Sunday, with sounds that go from house and tech house to reggaeton. Mala Mía covers Tuesday, Friday and Saturday; Monkey Beach Club hosts the Thursday White Party; WILD, over in Los Cristianos, has reggaeton on Wednesdays. Most series on sale have their last date between 25 and 31 December 2026. Summer has its own dates too: in 2026 there were live shows at Papagayo in August and MAPPA Festival dates in July and September. AEMET's long-term average high for January at Tenerife South airport is 21.7°C.

Greece's official tourism site describes the main strip of Laganas as about 3 km of beach bars and large clubs, open until the early hours and with a mainly young crowd. The group's 2026 dates in Zante all fell between 8 July and 8 September, and many were made for Italian travellers: Dolce Vita on Saturdays at Aura, Italiano Night on Wednesdays at Gatsby Live Theater, a boat party and a daytime boat excursion leaving from Laganas, and sunset sessions on Laganas beach: Infinity Beach Club (Tuesdays, 17:00–21:00) and El Paradiso Beach Club (Thursdays, 18:00–22:00). Visit Greece, the country's official tourism site, presents Mykonos as a clubbing destination of worldwide reach, where the party starts at the beach bars and carries on after dark. Come sunset, Alefkandra and Little Venice, where the houses with wooden balconies stand right against the sea, are where everyone meets. It is a summer island: at Mykonos airport, flights from within Greece carried 6,701 passengers in January 2025 and 86,165 in August. Italy was the airport's biggest international market that year. Punta Cana is not an island but the far east of the Dominican Republic: more than 50 km of white-sand beach, according to the country's official tourism site. That site describes the climate as warm all year, from 25 to 32°C, with the driest months from December to April; the Atlantic hurricane season officially ends on 30 November. Nights in Bávaro go from Imagine, a disco built inside an underground cave, to Coco Bongo, a show and nightclub, plus beach bars along Los Corales and Cortecito; for bachata and merengue, the official guide sends you to the clubs of Friusa. Albania is not an island either. The party is on the Riviera, which the national tourism agency describes as the coast running from Vlora down to Saranda and Ksamil, with Saranda looking across the Ionian Sea to Corfu. The group's 2026 dates there ran from 11 August to 15 September. Ksamil had the beach parties, at Greg Beach and Lost Seaside, and Mulino Beach's Latin pool party (18:30 to midnight); Saranda had the boat parties and Bougainville Bay Resort's infinity-pool party (19:00 to midnight).
