When to go partying: the season in Malta, Tenerife, Zante, Mykonos, Punta Cana and Albania
Short answer: Zante, Mykonos and Albania are for July and August. Punta Cana is for February to May. Malta and Tenerife peak in summer but keep parties going for most of the year, so they are the two to pick for spring, autumn or winter. The table shows every month for all six.

The table is our own calendar, not a weather or tourism ranking. September shows up in Zante and Albania because the 2026 dates ran into it: Zante's last one was on 8 September and Albania's on 15 September.
Malta: a long summer, and nights on either side
Malta has the longest calendar of the six. Across 2026 our Malta catalogue listed parties from 13 February to 31 December, and the bulk of them fall between June and September: 46 different parties had dates in July and 49 in August, against between 2 and 8 a month from February to May.
After the summer it slows down rather than stops. This autumn there are themed Saturdays at Toy Room in Paceville until the end of November, three Halloween nights on 30 and 31 October, and New Year's Eve on 31 December. January is the one month with nothing of ours in 2026.
Tenerife: the big nights in summer, club nights most of the year
Like Malta, Tenerife has its biggest events in summer and parties for most of the year around them. In winter it is the warmer of the two: its long-term average highs stay above 21°C from November to March.

Zante: July and August
Zante is a summer-only destination for us. In 2026 our dates started on 8 July and ended on 8 September, with more of them in August than in July. Several of the 2026 nights were in Laganas, which Greece's national tourism organisation describes as a long main street of beach bars and big clubs, open until the early hours.
The 2027 dates are not out yet.
Mykonos: July and August
Mykonos is also a July and August destination for us. We have not announced any Mykonos dates yet, so there is nothing of ours on sale there today. When there is, it will be for high summer.
Albania: July and August, running into September
Our Albania season is high summer on the Riviera, around Saranda and Ksamil, facing Corfu across the Ionian Sea. In 2026 the first date was on 9 July, August was by far the busiest month, and the last party was on 15 September.
As with Zante, the 2027 dates have not been published.
Punta Cana: February to May
Punta Cana is the odd one out: its season with us runs from February to May. The official numbers back that window up. The Dominican Republic's tourism board puts the drier season from December to April, and the Atlantic hurricane season runs from 1 June to 30 November, according to the US National Hurricane Center.
There are no Punta Cana dates on sale yet.
If you can only travel in…
- November to January: Malta or Tenerife. Malta until New Year's Eve; Tenerife for the warmer nights.
- February to May: Punta Cana, or Malta's first dates of the year.
- June: Malta, where the summer starts.
- July or August: anywhere except Punta Cana. These are the only months when all five European destinations have parties at the same time.
- September: Malta, which still had 24 different parties with dates in September 2026, or the last nights in Albania and Zante.
- October: Malta's Halloween weekend, or Tenerife.
Dates change from one year to the next, so check the calendar of each destination before you book flights.
FAQ
Which of the six destinations has parties all year?
Malta and Tenerife come closest. Both peak in summer and keep parties going most of the year. In Malta, January was the only month of 2026 without a party of ours.
What is the best month for Zante or Albania?
August. In 2026 it had more of our dates than any other month in both places. Zante ran from 8 July to 8 September and Albania from 9 July to 15 September.
When is the party season in Punta Cana?
From February to May. It sits inside the drier months the Dominican Republic's tourism board gives, and outside the Atlantic hurricane season, which runs from 1 June to 30 November.
Are the summer 2027 dates out?
