Which of our destinations has a New Year's Eve?
Malta is the one to look at. Zante, Mykonos and Albania are summer destinations for us, with nothing of ours in winter, and Punta Cana's season only starts in February. Tenerife has club nights until the end of December, and its own website opens soon.
How to plan a New Year trip to Malta
- Make it a long weekend. 31 December is a Thursday, so Thursday to Sunday gives you the night itself and three days to recover and see the island.
- Pack for winter, Malta-style. December averages 16.7°C by day and 11.0°C at night, and it is Malta's wettest month, with 112 mm of rain on average. A jacket over your party outfit is a good idea.
- Book the night as soon as it drops. Some of our nights are sold in batches whose price rises as each one sells out, as The Haunted Toy Room is for Halloween.
- Don't count on January. In 2026 our next party in Malta after New Year was on 13 February, so New Year's Eve is the last big night for a while.
Coming earlier in the winter?
If you can travel before Christmas instead, Malta has more on in October and November: Halloween on 30 and 31 October and themed Saturdays at Toy Room until 28 November. December itself has only the one night of ours: New Year's Eve.
